i have a question about the summer reading project.
what are some of the examples of novels you are planning on reading, because i really need some suggestions.

The narrator would snap his wrist with a rubberband everytime he had a "gay" thought. the quote was "By the end of the day, my wrist was red and swollen." The book is called "Absolutely, positively, Not..." and it's about a teenager battling his sexuality. I recommend it, it's funny and eye-opening.

Dominique, that is a hilarious quote from your book. Does the author use humor throughout? What are you enjoying most about this novel?

From the book, Walk Two Moons: "Don't judge a man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins." Hmmmm, food for thought, don't you think?

Jara M,
I read The Secret Garden a few years ago and really enjoyed the story. It's very interesting how the author crafts the friendship between the two main characters.
